OGT News: IQ-ity booth at eTech Ohio draws educators

Professional educators attending eTech Ohio are encouraged to seek out IQ-ity's Learning Suite Booth in aisle 600 of the Exhibit Hall at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

The Ohio Educational Technology Conference runs February 12-14 and includes dozens of breakout sessions, as well as displays by leading technology companies serving the school community.

Attendees will have no trouble spotting the blue and green IQ-ity booth with its overhead circular sign: "Reach.Retain.Empower." Inside, they'll see state-of-the-art interactive displays of IQ-ity's high school learning suite. IQ-ity representatives will be on hand to discuss the advantages of online education - IQ-ity style.

Visitors should register for Wednesday's drawing for a 32-inch plasma TV by Sony. They can pick up free packs of M&Ms, an IQ-ity stress-reliever squeeze balls, pens and additional information about the product.

OGT News: IQ-ity staffer to present new online curriculum at eTech Ohio

IQ-ity's Dr. Thomas Fletcher will present a breakout session on "Creating The Best Online Curriculum Content for Ohio High School Students" at 11 a.m. February 12 at eTech Ohio.

eTech is the Ohio Educational Technology Conference, scheduled for February 12-14 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

Dr. Fletcher is IQ-ity's curriculum director and his one-hour session will focus on the important Class.com content. Class.com is nationally recognized as the premier online curriculum for high schoolers. IQ-ity is the only online learning suite in Ohio that uses the Class.com content.

He will discuss his experiences with online curriculum development and the direction that online education will take in the future.

eTech attendees are invited to stop by IQ-ity's interactive Learning Suite Booth and see the advantages this type of learning offers.

Curriculum is just one aspect of the IQ-ity product. Others include an interactive whiteboard where teachers and students communicate in real time through video-casting and an OGT Preparation Tool and Study Guide.
